BMW Boosts Production of Hybrids

Luxury brand BMW takes aim at Lexus this year by doubling the number of hybrids it will be offering drivers. The German company will increase its lineup from two vehicles to four with new hybrid variants of the BMW 3 Series and the BMW 5 series. So far, Lexus has had a kind of monopoly on luxury-hybrid vehicles, but with this move, the automaker will be truly challenged for the first time.

New Android App for BMW Drivers

The time has finally come....BMW has successfully launched an Android-compatible variant of their My BMW Remote App. Time to rejoice? Bert Smith BMW thinks so.

BMW Named Most Sustainable Automaker by Dow Jones

A lot of automakers out there have hopped on the "green" bandwagon over the past few years. However, like anything in life, there are varying shades of "green".  Those who boast green practices for the sake of coloring consumers' opinions are a paler shade of green. Laser Headlights in Upcoming BMW Models

Not long ago, the luxury auto market was in awe of LED headlamps, taken by their cost savings, reduced power consumption, piercing light and distinctive glow. Now, many cars in all different classes feature LEDs, making them less of a stand-out feature and more status quo. BMW Frozen Black Edition M3 Released

BMW seems to be developing a perennial habit of releasing Special Edition M3 cars. Last year, it was the Frozen Gray. This year, it's a leaner, meaner Frozen Black.

As the name suggests, the BMW Frozen Black Edition M3 is finished in a don't-mess-with-me urbanite shade of matte black. Punching up its devilish good looks with a sense of panache are contrasting high-gloss kidney grilles, side-grill elements, and exhaust tail pipe, Novillo leather…

BMW has opened many doorways to the future of car technology. Now, they're throwing open another. And, it isn't for any 'Green' technology such as stop-start, a regenerative brake system, electric pumps and power steering, or 8-speed ZF transmission. As such, Bert Smith BMW thought you'd fancy a story having to do not only with BMW but also fine art.

In an effort to raise funds and create room for other exhibits, New…
