The BMW group recently announced that it has won its big to supply the LAPD with a fleet of 100 BMW i3 electric vehicles, a great step toward a greener Los Angeles and great news for the BMW brand. There was a trail period during which the BMW i3 was tested alongside other electric vehicles (EVs), but the i3 was ultimately selected over the competition.

”Going green” has never been easier or more convenient, because BMW has just formally confirmed that the 2017 BMW i3 will be getting a big boost in terms of range and battery capacity, and with range anxiety destroyed, that means more gasless miles traveled. The 2017 model i3 is set to release late this fall, so there’s still some time before it arrives in our showroom, but you can check out the video below for some more information.
