A tire that has insufficient tread and pressure is not safe to drive on. Ideally, you will inspect your vehicle’s tires at least once a day to ensure that they are in proper condition. If they are not, it is important to take corrective action as soon as possible to avoid uneven wear or damage.

In most cases, tires will have pressure sensors that will go off if there isn’t enough air in them.. Furthermore, they may also have tread sensors that will issue an alert if there is something that needs to be fixed right away.

If a tire lacks sufficient tread, it will not be able to make contact with wet or slippery surfaces. This could increase the risk of sliding off of the road or not being able to stop in time to prevent a collision with another vehicle.
