The new special edition will be called the BMW M4 GTS, and it’s the first high-performance special edition in the M3/M4 model range that will be available in the North American market, so you could be one of the lucky 700! The new BMW M4 GTS is a road-legal performance vehicle that pines for the racetrack, with a lap time of 7.28 minutes on the notoriously challenging Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit. The BMW M4 GTS uses the same six-cylinder in-line turbo engine from the BMW M3/M4, but the inclusion of innovative water injection technology gives the unit a big boost in power, while keeping fuel economy and CO2 emissions at the level of the BMW M4 Coupe.
