Owning a BMW is quite a reward, so we want to make that selecting just the right new BMW is as smooth as can be. Fortunately, other dealers across the nation are doing the same, and the July sales report proves so.
BMW Group, which makes up BMW and MINI models, showed a sales increase of 10.5 percent with a total of 20,993 units in the U.S. From January until July, BMW Group sold 202,780 units and showed a 9.2 percent increase over this period last year.
When we focus just on BMW, sales still followed the same trend; the Bavarian automaker raked in 24,043 units resulting in a 12.9 percent increase over July 2012. From January to July, the brand sold 164,474 units for an 11.3 percent increase.
"July is a pivotal month, setting the trend for the second half of the year and the numbers show the trend is with us," says Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America, LLC. "We have a strong line-up of new vehicles to launch in the months ahead led by the all new X5...and the beautiful BMW 4 Series Coupe which arrives in the fall."1
Vehicles with the most noticeable performance include the BMW 1 Series (60.7 percent increase), the BMW 3 Series (29.2 percent increase), X5 SAV (17.1 percent increase), and the Z4 Roadster (25.4 percent increase).
We could talk about them day in and day out, but honestly the best way to discover which BMW is the one for you is to stop into a showroom near you.
