Total brand sales for the month of June shot up 24.6 percent, year-over-year, this June. Furthermore, this number marks the Best-June U.S. sales for the automaker. As far as the first half of the year goes, BMW is in the positive for that, too. For the first six months, BMW's demonstrated a nine percent increase over last year's six month period.

Where does this success come from? For one, it derives from the popular success that the BMW 3 Series reeled in--a 62.6 percent increase. The BMW X3 also contributed to the report with a 5.5 percent increase. We saved the best for last: the BMW 6 Series really did a number on sales with an incredible 119 percent increase over last June.
