Pushing the pedal down on a BMW M3 or M5 puts a lot of horses to work under the hood of the M Series sedan. Not that it doesn't have a few to spare with 414 base horsepower in the BMW M3 and a rocket-ship-worthy 560 driving the BMW M5. Bert Smith BMW of Saint Petersburg contends there are few greater joys than piloting a BMW M Series sedan around Florida. And we agree with the recent decision BMW made to release new M Performance premium auto parts to further spice up the 3 Series and 5 Series sedans.
Slight variations between the 3 Series and 5 Series parts abound, helping to differentiate each upgrade. For example the M Performance Steering Wheel on the 3 Series features 3 driver-selectable driving modes (Sport, Race and EfficientDynamics), while the same M Performance part destined for the 5 Series features a red racing stripe accent.
The list does not stop at only interior upgrades. A BMW M Performance front splitter, rocker panel blades, carbon fiber rear spoiler and side stripes are all options on the menu. Both the 3 Series and 5 Series can also gain a M Sport retrofit package.
These are only a sampling of what BMW has to offer. If you're interested in a complete list of M Performance Parts, simply contact Bert Smith BMW today.
