With another successful year added to the BMW company's calendar, it's time to look forward to what 2012 will bring as far as changes and enhancements are concerned for the German auto manufacturer.  At this time, Bert Smith BMW can tell you that all signs are positive for an excellent year full of growth and fantastic new vehicles and innovations from the luxury company. Friedrich Eichiner, CFO of BMW, even asserts that BMW could grow twice as much vertically as the auto industry in general for the 2012 year. This isn't surprising with the fantastic new BMW lineup available this year.

While BMW isn't ignoring the European market, it expects growth to predominately arise from Asian, South American, and North American markets. Securing market share in new big auto markets like India and China will be important as the year goes on. The company is even considering building a new factory in Brazil to show their commitment to the Latin American market.

Though 2011 saw a huge merger between BMW and the SLG Group, which produced a new carbon-fiber manufacturing facility on the West Coast, the company seems satisfied with its involvement with the Group at this time, and no big joint projects are planned between the two.
