Twenty-thirteen is almost upon us and Bert Smith BMW is eager for the new year to roll in and bring with it the next additions to the new BMW lineup at 3800 34th Street North Saint Petersburg, FL.

Hot off the heels of the Los Angeles Auto Show, automakers from all over the globe will converge in Michigan soon for the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The annual event will bring to light new concepts, production models and special-edition vehicles from the design tables of some of the best manufacturers. Speaking of first-class design, we at Bert Smith BMW are a little biased to find out what our favorite German auto company has in store for the show.

Fueling our excitement, the luxury automaker has something to offer each of the aforementioned categories. The BMW 4 Series Coupe concept will receive its world premiere in Detroit and represents the next generation of BMW's sporting mid-range vehicle. On the roadster side, the BMW Z4 official reveal has us imagining driving with the top down and the sun shining down.

As for a new special edition? BMW is planning to unveil a new Limited Edition Lifestyle package for the 1 Series in Coupe and Convertible form at the 2013 NAIAS. Offered in a total of three new color options (including the exclusive Mineral White), the Limited Edition Lifestyle package serves to accentuate the exterior aesthetics of the 1 Series as well as the interior.

Exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels and the new colors can produce fascinating lighting effects when combined with the BMW 1 Series Convertible's brown soft-top and silver pigmentations. Sliding into the interior, we're greeted by brown leather upholstery with contrasting white stitching. The dash is also ingrained with a Fineline Stream wood trim.

If you're interested in learning more about the BMW 1 Series Limited Edition Lifestyle package, be sure to check back with us following the North American International Auto Show. There are sure to be further details revealed, and the BMW parts department at Bert Smith BMW will be happy to answer any questions you have.
